Lasting Powers of Attorney
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Without a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), those caring for you may face significant difficulties in managing your finances, property, or personal welfare if you lose capacity. It can also leave your loved ones without a formal voice in decisions about your medical treatment and day‑to‑day care.
Putting an LPA in place allows you to appoint trusted individuals to act as your attorneys, ensuring that decisions are made in your best interests if you are no longer able to make them yourself.
We can:
Act as a certificate provider to confirm your understanding and capacity to make the LPAs
Register LPAs with the Office of the Public Guardian
Advise attorneys on their duties and responsibilities, once appointed
Arrange for your LPAs to be stored in a deeds room and provide certified copies as required
Our goal is to provide peace of mind, for you and for those closest to you, by ensuring that your affairs can be managed smoothly and in accordance with your wishes if you can no longer do so yourself during your lifetime.
